Sorry for the brief interruption of deals.. but me and my son were just in our first earthquake. It wasn’t like a small little quiver that lasts 1/2 a second either. This one totally freaked us both out, sounded like an army was running down the stairs. So much for going to bed before midnight. Ceilings, walls, light fixtures all shaking, and my son found a small crack in the ceiling. The short 5.2 – 5.6 earthquake seemed to last for minutes when I think it actually only lasted for about 30-45 seconds. In Oklahoma we have Tornados, thunderstorms, ice storms, blizzards and snow storms. However, this strong earthquake felt was the highest scale earthquake in Oklahoma History. What is next, a Hurricane? Just kidding I hope since the nearest ocean is hundreds of miles away!  Feel free to comment on your thoughts on this historic day in Oklahoma!

We live near Tulsa and I was on the computer when it happened. The monitor started to hobble and jump a little from the shaking and it sounded like a washing machine that was out of balance! Freaky! It woke up everyone in the house except my daughter.

My first earthquake also. It was surreal. Now (Monday) we have these tornadoes all around us…in November!!
