How to cook spaghetti squash? Tonight, I cooked Spaghetti Squash. It was rather easy. You can Bake it, Boil it or microwave it. I chose to Boil it. I boiled the whole thing. Yep, add water place whole squash in the water and wait about an hour or until soft to touch.
Next, I placed it on a cutting board and chopped the top off and bottom and sliced down the middle. I should of cut it across the middle section and not length wise. It would have been easier to get the seeds out that way.
Then I took a fork and scraped and all of a sudden spaghetti type of squash was everywhere.
Now for the taste, it was a bit crunchy to me. But good flavor and a nice substitute for the regular carb loaded spaghetti. Husband, didn’t touch it.. youngest son 5 said it tasted like Spinach. He is crazy.. because it doesn’t taste like spinach. I ate it with Spaghetti Sauce and meatballs..
