Going strong, but the diet is getting a bit tiresome, but we are hangin’ in there. I do have to say, I am proud of all my new found will power, as I have a house full of yummy delicious, unhealthy foods. Like Oreo Cakesters I got Free when you Buy Oreos (Crest Deal) and making dinner for the “brothers” that is what Braddock calls his siblings. Like I made my yummy mexican cassarole, the boys love to eat with chips and tortillas! Oh, it is so good. I did not even have a taste.
I have filled my days with planting, cleaning and laundry! Trying to avoid thoughts of cookies and ice cream.
I do have to say, I have done very well with the planning on this diet round! My dad made smoked salmon and it was fabulous, so I ate that for a few days for lunch. (not on my protocol, but is on his, he is going through a dr. and his list of foods is slight different) My friend came over and we made a few recipes, which helped. Losing 10 pounds in 10 days has been pretty motivating as well. I am counting the weight I was on my first VLCD which was almost 3 pounds higher then my weight before the load days!
Yesterday, I weighted in at 156 and then today at 155.2. This definately inspired me to continue my cookie free days. I have a feelin’ this weekend might be doomsville… Wedding on Friday night, and family party at my house on Saturday night! At this rate, I could be at my goal weight of 145 pounds before I end this diet on May 11. I have approximate 11 more days to go, not that I am counting down the days or anything!
Congrats you are doing awesome. Will power is a hard thing to accomplish, and you have it! Way to go, and now I am jealous you've passed me by!
