MurphyUSA saves you on gas, as the price at the pump are on the rise. Not a big shocker, we all know that with the rise in gas prices that takes away from being able to spend money in other areas. However Murphy USA is here to help ease the pain. Right now they have a $2 off when you buy $20 worth of gas when you check into FourSquare on your smart phone. Not only you can save money on gas, but there was a coupon on the check in for Stride Gum, too.
FourSquare is a location based APP that will allow you to share where you are with your other social media tools like twitter and facebook along with giving friends tips on what to do, what to eat, or what to avoid at different places you chose to check in.
Above you can see what FourSquare looks like on my iPhone. You will notice the offers available and on the other screen you will see options on Checking in. All you have to do is find your place and click.

Other perks from Murphy USA, sign up for their email or text alerts to save on more then just gas. The company rewards their customers by sending them coupons for free drinks and candy.
One thing I need to let you know is that if you plan on using a credit card for your gas purchase and want to save $2 on $20 gas purchase, you have to go pay the friendly employee at Murphy’s. This is not really a big deal, if you are alone. (with no small child in tow) I got to go fill my tank alone. It is nice to drive alone, with no jibber jabbing in the back. However I did not make a special trip to get gas, as it was near my pizza stop. We had pizza for dinner that night.
