Before the new year, I signed up for the Weight Watchers program! So now I am looking for foods that will help me fill my tummy, leave me satisfied so I can succeed my weight loss goals. I was asked to shop for Lean Cuisine and Skinny Cow products at my local Wal-Mart for Collective Bias and give you all my honest opinion of these products. Which was an easy task, because I am already a fan of both product lines!

Here is my thoughts on Lean Cuisine. My all time favorite is the Panini with Spinach and Mushroom, this was priced at $1.98. Great price, because I have seen these in the past for over $3 at other stores. (Points Plus value 9) Of course I bought one of them, along with a few other varieties. I did not buy any of the comfort food lines, I prefer homemade. I have never tried the Lean Cuisine Comfort food lines myself though. I bought some of the pizzas, and told my son he could eat them if he would like. I had the had the Asian Style Pot Stickers for lunch, they were delicious. Cooked 8 minutes on 50% power in microwave. I think I might have heated them to long as the sides were a bit cruchy, but they were still good. There is another variety in a bag, called Steam Fresh here is a link to print $1/1 Lean Cuisine Steam Fresh coupon. I have not tried these yet!

I am a fan of Ice Cream sandwiches, and Skinny Cow has a cookie shaped ice cream sandwich that is low in fat and calories.

They even come in a low sugar variety! There are also ice cream cone versions, and fudge bars. A box of 6 is $3.98 at Wal-Mart.

Dislclosure: All opinions are my own, I was compensated by Collective Bias to shop for these products whrrl, and blog about them.

You should drive up to Kansas to Dillons. They are on sale and then with coupons you can snag them for $1.10 a piece if you buy the Market Steam ones. I used the $1 off 2. Plan to go back a few more times to stock the freezer. Hope their good.

That is awesome! I wish we had better selection in grocery stores here in OK. I did see Homeland has Lean Cuisine for sale for 3/$5.

Glad you tried the Lean Cuisine. I have really been enjoying them and have been on the WW plan in the past.
What did you think of the Skinny Cow? Which ones did you try?

I’m curious on which Skinny Cow you got too. I’ve become fond of the cups, ‘Dulce de Leche’ is my favorite. But I also like the mint sandwiches.
