My son is playing Freshman Football at our local public high school and one of the parents on the team produced this documentary that will be on ESPN  this weekend! I have my DVR set to record, and really not sure what the broadcast is going to entail. But I do know, the producer personally and so I know this documentary is something I don’t want to miss. Especially since I have a young athlete at home. This upcoming sports season, lets not forget to pray for our childerns safety at school, and on the field. More info below on the documentary.

ESPN on Sunday, August 29th at 2PM Eastern, 1 PM Central with rebroadcasts on ESPN2 on September12th at 11:00PM Pacific and September 27th at 7:00PM Eastern, 6:00PM Central.

I watched “Boy of Fall” last night and think it is one of the finest documentaries I have ever seen. Hearing some of the best players and coaches in the game talk about the life-long connection they feel toward their days as high school players was wonderfully sensitive and emotionally moving. You don’t have to be a football fan to appreciate the message in this film.
