BlogHer13 Chicago Part 3

Now, finally it is Saturday. The whole trip was becoming a blur. I felt like I had been there for days. Saturday was filled with the hours at the Expo. We ate lunch there, and snacked along the way in the expo and had plenty to drink thanks to Coke, Turning Leaf, and Honest. We shut that place down, and rode back to the Sheraton in style in a Dodge Durango, courtesy of Dodge. Which was so nice, to not have to hop on the shuttle with all our Swag. IMG_0662

That evening was a blast, luckily we only had to walk across the street to AMC movie theater to see a special screening of Delivery Man  (<– click to go see the trailer ) with a special appearance of Vince Vaughn (not in person but a special recorded hello, as his wife is about to have a baby). Also important to note, we got to sit down! As of right now, all I can say is #DeliveryManChicago was a great movie and will definitely go see it again when it comes out November 22, 2013.

Thanks to Marshall and Gabbi along with Disney who sponsored the cocktail party with snacks at the Lucky Strike. After this, we decided to head back to the hotel and we just thought we were done for the night. But decided we must attend the CheeseburgHER party. Which was in the presidential suite of the Sheraton. It was super fun, however super crowded and probably exceeded the fire code of the room. There was an open bar, and a self-serve bar, a photographer on site taking pics and you can’t forget Cheeseburgers and more in honor of the CheeseburgHER party. This was it for Saturday, are you tired yet?

Sunday. So Brittany and I hit it once again on the streets of Chicago, getting cab rides (we could have walked, but we were on a time crunch) we wanted to squeeze in a few more outings. So glad we did, as we hit the American Girl store ( I have never been inside one), walked past the famous Water Towers, and ventured to the Millennium Park. All I can say is WOW. That park was amazing, and we didn’t even get to experience the whole park. “The Bean” was so amazing. The art was interesting and the weather was beautiful. We even were able to make the short walk back to the hotel with ease and dismissed what the iMap wanted us to do. Then we had to say our goodbyes. I was all alone in Chicago. So what do you do if you are on your own in Chicago? You go eat pizza at Geno’s East, and how do you get there? You WALK, (I bet you thought I would say take a Taxi) and yes I made it there just in time before the long lunch wait. Sat at the bar, next to Stan Hubbards (he is the founder of Direct TV) boat mechanic. My day in Chicago is coming to an end, got to the airport way early and finally arrived home. Home Sweet Home. How I missed you, but loved every minute of my adventure to my first BlogHer with Brittany. Thanks for inviting me along, had a blast and until next time.  Waiting for me at home, my sweet boy. He was so excited to see all the goodies I brought back. Here he is wearing the Chucke Cheese Hat, and his Tummy Stuffer! (which is what he has always wanted, so he can hide all his treasures from his brother Blakers) Did you miss Day 1 BlogHer13 Chicago and BlogHer13 Chicago Day 2? Be sure to go back and check out those days, along with the pictures!
