Homemade: Microwave Popcorn Recipe

Homemade Microwave Popcorn! You can do this.. I know you can. What a way to save on calories. (I am currently on Weight Watchers) thought it would be better then my HCG days, plus I can actually eat like a normal human being.

Great way to save money, as a pound of popcorn is only about $1 a bag. You can premake the bagged popcorn, that way when the kids need a healthy snack, (or you) all you have to do is pop this in the microwave and wait a few minutes!

1. Scoop out 1/4 cup of reg. bagged popcorn in a brown paper bag. Fold the top of the bag over a few times and tape shut.

2. Folded side up, place in microwave. Pop for about 2-3 minutes. Depending on microwave. Wait until 5 secs in between pops.

3. Once done, you can add flavors if needed. Maybe some 0 calorie spray butter, salt, sugar or other seasoning.

Now for the best part:

50 lb bag of popcorn at Sams Club is $16.68
We bought that and stuck it in the deep freeze, which helps getting every kernel to pop.
Now we got popcorn forever! :D
