Oklahoma State Fair and Pygmy Goats Oh My

by Shannon on September 21, 2010

Today, was a great day to go to the Ok State Fair. So off we go, my little buddy and I. This was a great idea, right. I love to go to the Barns and see the animals, and today happened to be the day of the Goat Showings. So, with Braddock’s little hand in mine, we headed to the Barn. Well, I think it was love at first site. He fell in love with the Pygmy goats, look they are so cute he said.

Oh, dear. I said Yes they are. Then there were tears. Not the mad tears, or hurt tears, but those tears that you get when you are seriously sad. He busts out, I want a goat. In his crying voice of a real dramatic cry. He laid his head on my shoulder and he cried.

So, what the heck does a good mom to do? I mean really, I can’t just buy a goat and throw it in the back of my SUV? Or can I? Just kidding. So like any good mom would do was say, let’s go ask your dad.

I want a goat too! Oh and a small farm to go along with it :) if you get a goat you’ll never have to mow or weed again
