I have been so into pocket cameras lately, and the most recent one I have been able to try is the Vado, by Creative. SOme of the features I enjoy are the 2 inch screen, so you can see what you are recording. Along with, the easy to use buttons, just play, record, delete, and that is pretty much it. No long directions to read, just an easy to use camera. The picture quality is good, I would not say fabulous, but it is good for an everyday mini camera that is easy to tote around in your bag. This mini camera is so tiny, if you are familar with the size of an iphone 8G, I can tell you this camera is smaller than your iphone!

One thing I do like is the recharable batteries,(great for the earth, as we are trying to live more “green”)and you can film up to 2 hours worth of video on this little machine. It is amazing, I made my first youtube, with this camera the other day, and to load the data on Youtube, was easy. Plug the little pocket camera in your usb port on your PC or laptop, and you are in buisness. No software to install, so easy for any child, teen, mom or dad!

The dimensions (3.9″ x 2.2″ x 0.6″) truly DO make it a pocket camera. I’m jealous of people with camera-phones. My elderly cel phone has no camera, and I’d love to have the Vado in my pocket for those great spontaneous moments I want to capture in a photo or video.

This is perfect for on the go!! I’d use it to film my kids, of course! Our camera now is not digital, so anything I capture is on tape and can’t be put on my blog to share. That leaves my digital camera, but that takes only so-so video.

I would use it to take short videos of my kids, the rescued MinPins I work with and try to place into new homes, and the seniors I spend time with at the nursing home (I volunteer) – I could take videos of the seniors and save them to disks for their families to have after their relative has passed on. I’d use the camera to create videos and edit it with my movie-editing programs, although I do prefer the HD one but i’ll be deeply apreciated if I had one. I’d probably also use it to record things i see thats funny (mostly my sunday school) and since its pretty compact i can conceal in my jacket pocket.

This Vado Pocket Camera by Creative is the perfect Mother’s Day Gift to me! I am a bit technologically challenged so the easy to use features of this video camera are exactly what I need to capture those candid moments of our 3 young children that I have been dying to take. My husband is the real video talent in the family and he will use his equipment to take video for special occasions, but many times some of the cutest moments happen spontaneously when my husband is at work and I am with the kids either at home or out and about somewhere with them. I love the size of that thing. It is so cute. I have never had a video camera and that would make a cool first one for me to have to take to family outings. My parents used to videotape stuff years ago, back when everyone was using vhs tapes. I would love to be able to have videos like that of my family and friends to look back on and watch. I’d use it to take short videos of my adorable niece, I’d take random photos that catch my attention, and I’d finagle my fiance into standing still every once in a while so I could capture his fantastic smile.

I would just be too cool for school with this and would have to fight my 7 yr old son for it most of the time ! .. Besides that – My hubby works for Bungy so I would jump off one of Queenstowns best bridges with it to show you all how fabulous and crazy we all are down under! LOVE IT !
