Review on Mega Bloks Construction Blok Squad

I was sent the above Blok Squad construction kit from Mega Bloks from Team Mom back in the fall. I have been meaning to write a review, trying to find the positive in this product as I was not totally impressed. First, my son’s both love building toys. (5 and 16 years old) The 16 year old is the one that normally does most of the building with the help of his lil’ bro. Then the little bro likes to do the playing. Well, this seemed to be a huge project for my 16 yo who has built tons of items before, is an “A” student and he had trouble with the way the directions were written and putting this item together. When the finished product was complete, the younger child did like to play with the construction vehicles. So the whole thing was not a total fail. I do prefer the Larger Mega Bloks opposed to the smaller size building bricks. What do you think of the Mega Bloks?
