I was sent a Raw Minerals Discovery Kit to try out and give you all some of my input on this mineral based make-up. In this kit, I received 3 brushes, and 4 jars of powder (mineral based). The powder can be mixed to get the right shade, and goes on so smooth and when you apply the mineral glow, a nice shine is present. Check out, the how to apply mineral powder you will find it quick and easy. One thing I did like, was the non-sticky feeling. You know, the feeling of the lotion foundation and then it gets all over your fingers, etc.. And did I say easy. As a mom on the go, that is really important feature.
Overall, I am not a real make up kind of girl, so putting this product on was easy and most important quick. The internet site, is a great help in explaining how to apply the make up. The look was clean, and flawless. Which is pretty important to me, I do not want to look like I have caked on make up.
In the kit, there is a DVD, to help you with all the how to’s. Also, the 3 brushes that came in the kit were really nice brushes. The jars were pretty small, and you get 4 different ones. Two of them are shades of foundation, one Mineral Glow and then the Active Veil SPF 18. (I like the fact that there is spf in the last one)
