No, I have not fallen off the planet. I am still here, 1/2 sane as was I ever fully sane anyways? So, where do I start. Baseball season, Sister In Law Visit, football camp or the search for Karate Class? So, here it goes. Summer started off with Baseball, games every night it seemed. When it was home team night, I got to enter the concession stand madness. Taco Nachos, hot dogs, flippin’ burgers, and cookin’ chicken on the grill. I learned allot about working with food, and that I am grateful for all those restaurant workers out there, because that is a difficult job. Therefore, I hope to continue my blogging career. I the midst of all the baseball, I got to tag along the 4 year old, which probably was great birth control to all the fans in the stands. I am who needs a 4 year old and a 15 year old. I guess I do, because he is mine and would not trade him for the world. Because, my sweet hubby and older son are off working like crazy since the largest hail storm hit Oklahoma City, in May.

I like to call this week my stay cation, as my much younger sister-in-law from Utah came to visit. This was all during baseball season as well, so she got to help me in the concession stand a bit. But more importantly I was instructed (by her brother, my husband) to make sure she had a good time here in Oklahoma. So we hit all my favorite spots, most not thrifty spending, but I had to follow orders from hubby so we definitely had some good girl time! Which remember, I do feel like I live in a frat house most of the time. All in all we had a great week, and ate and drank until we felt like we had “food babies” that is what you call a pooched out belly that is not with child.

Now, Football… well not completely. Just a mini 4 day camp, along with Scuba Certification (not me, but my overly active son) I am to chicken to take the class and learn how to assemble my scuba gear underwater. However, I have done a scuba dive before on a “resort dive” you know the crash course basic to see if you would like to ever get certified. It was actually pretty amazing under the sea, however my beach vacations consist of lying on the beach or hanging at the pool with umbrella drinks!

I am tired now… I must go.

WOW.. 2 kids out of school, one Teen still in school and then one child back in school! (PreSchool Summer School.. yippee.. skippy.)  I am so excited about that one.

One Hubby and one Teen that will be hard working all summer… (roofing buisness).

Then there is me… I will hopefully be organizing all my crazy madness, donating some of my stockpile and of course deal shopping. Oh, and my son made the Freshman team for the Pure Prairie leauge Baseball team, so I will be going  to lots of baseball games. Very exciting.. ; )

This weekend I got a date with hubby and got a moment to talk to him about life in general! We had no storms, so fantastic deal.

Hum.. what else do I need to tell all of you? Oh, hangin’ in there with my diet maintance. I am averaging about 152ish… pounds (remember lowest was 148 pounds) Not to shabby, I had a cookie fest the other day with the Vanilla Oreos. Why do I buy junk… just temps me to eat it. I still can fit into my splurge Jeans, by Big Star from the Buckle (size 28 short) I bought this brand because they run big, and I could buy the 28′s instead of the 29′s! By the way, in the long run I would rather have a pair of great jeans I love then 5 cheap pair I hate.

I also need to start menu planning again, so I can plan to succeed, instead of planning to FAIL. I have not been eating much at dinner, but I still have 3 boys to feed. Right now, I am just trying to clean out the freezers right now! (which is saving me money, since I bought some new clothes for ME ; )

Oh, forgot one Teen is going to golf camp soon, so that will be way fun for him. Since he will be working all summer. Which is good he is working because car insurance for a Teen Boy is ridiculously expensive.

Boy were out of school at the beginning of the month for a it is to cold to go to school day. Weird, I know. It was in the single digits, so the schools canceled. Then on Thursday, before the ice even started to fall the schools in the area were closing, and the temps were 65 degrees. So warm, me and the little one went to the park, with no coats on.

So, today… I woke up to the snow day. Little one, thinks it is Christmas, because that is when we experienced the OK Blizzard of 2009. I would love to hear all the drama on the weather, but we are watching Oswald, instead. Very odd show, I may say.

Husband is even home which is nice, since he has been away. Once with just me, and then again for work. If you call it work. Now, to stay warm and cozy and hope to continue to have power. My mom just called, and said her power is off. Then I looked on twitter, @OGandE, and someone tweeted about a powerline down near her neighborhood!

What makes me smile, is everyday is a “Snow” day at  my house. He he..

What a kid… little 3 yo, loves to get his picture taken, and lately all the pictures seem to have his tongue hanging out. Where in the world does he learn such a thing? Me and my best buddy, sometimes it would be nice if he would find a new buddy. You see I am a stay at home mom, and this one has no siblings around his age to play with….. so all you moms out there with lots of little ones need to remember if there were no siblings, then you would be playing alot of pretend games, Candyland, Star Wars, then be bossed around on how to play pretend. LOL…

Here is an interesting topic I have seen online and facebook talk. Does your Santa wrap presents, or leave them nicely displayed at the tree or fireplace?

Some of my best memories are me and my sisters, on Christmas Eve setting our alarm clocks for the middle of the night, so we can sneak a peek of the presents! It was so fun, I am sure our parents did not like that much, but Santa did not wrap the presents. Our Santa would lay our presents out so beautifully. One of the best memories is when I got a trampoline, and the box that the tramp came in the living room. I had not idea what that big box was when I peeked in the middle of the night!

Now, with my own children, we do not wrap Santas gifts for the little one, but recently began wrapping for the teen boys, so they do not do what their mother used to do…. We will unopen the little ones presents and lay them out so he will be ready to play.

Well, not yet. But tomorrow, December 11, 19XX is the year I was born. So today I tell you I am finally going to get to cheat on my diet. You know I told you a while back that I am doing the HCG diet, and have lost as of this morning 18.5 pounds! Yes, I feel like a walking infomorcial. I started on November 28. (yes, it has only been 14 days tomorrow!) I have eaten like a little bird, except I can not eat bread, carbs, sugar, diet coke, cookies, cakes, ice cream, twix bars, and whatever. My diet has been extremely limited, but tomorrow, I will go to eat Sushi! I love Sushi, and I promised myself I will not over eat, and I will be wise. This is what I need to help me push, pull, crawl to the date of Dec. 23, when I will be able to eat a more variety of foods (minus sugar and bad carbs) Yippee.. here is a link to some info on the diet. I did not order from that company, but did order from HERE. But the first link the drops are much cheaper.
So, back to my birthday. I used to be a bit nutty about a countdown to my birthday with my family, but I guess this year I am showing some maturity (but I am not old) and settling down the birthday countdown! LOL..

Then, you know what else we need to be counting down to, is Christmas. Hold on to your seat, as Christmas is in 14 days! Can you believe it? Then we will be in the year 2010. Are you done with all your Christmas shopping? Am I? Of course not, because I am the “princess of procrastination” I am close though. Teenage boys are pretty difficult, especially when one is really not needy at all, which don’t get me wrong, is great, but it is difficult to find the perfect gift, besides a new 2010 Truck (so if you are reading this son, you aren’t getting a truck, sorry.) Oh, that is so weird, talking about a son that is driving. That could be a whole other blog post!
