Here is a recipe that both my hubby and I enjoyed. It is really easy, just mixing the marinade is a bit time consuming, I made another batch of marinades all at once to be able to use for a quick and easy meal in the future!
Mongolian Beef and Cabbage
Ingredients Include:
100 grams sliced beef ( I used Sirloin, cut in strips)
Cabbage Strips
½ cup beef broth or water
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
3 tablespoons orange juice (optional)(I did not use)
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons Bragg’s liquid aminos (bought at The Health Food Store, in Edmond)
2 cloves garlic crushed and minced
1 tablespoon green onions chopped (I am not mixing onions with my veggies, so I did not use)
¼ teaspoon chili powder or to taste
Salt and Pepper to taste and Stevia to taste
Directions:
Combine spices into liquid ingredients. In frying pan or wok, stir fry on
high heat to combine flavors and cook beef and cabbage. Add additional
water if necessary to keep dish from burning. Add additional orange slices
for added sweetness if desired. (I did not)
Makes 1 serving (1 protein, 1 vegetable)

So how are you doing as of today June 13, 2010? I started this phase 2 5 days ago and lost 7 pounds so far, I hear that you can gain weight very fast when you slip up and was wondering if that is true for phase 3??
