First I try to remember to mentally and verbally give each and every day to God as His day. Things go alot smoother that way. I also set up a chore chart for myself for the major things like sweeping/mopping, dusting, vacuuming, clean bathrooms etc. I found that I always remember and find time to clean the kitchen, cuz well, you just have to. But often I'd let the other stuff go. So now I have certain days I do them. Once my chores are done, I feel productive and I'm more energized to do other things. And AMEN to not letting your kids get too busy. Our kids just need to be kids! I've done the same thing for myself this year.
