KLOVE and Jon and Sherry Rivers
As I turned on the Radio to listen to KLOVE on my way to Bible Study this morning, I heard the news, Jon and Sherry will no longer be hosting the morning show on KLOVE due to Family Issues. Humm.. so immediately I am intrigued. Should I? Well, as a human yes, as a Christian, no. To fall in the traps of this gossip is so wrong, however I am human!
As, I was looking for answers, I am confronted with, WHY? Can I make the situation better if I knew the real reason for them leaving the show? Answer: NO. Because I am not GOD. He is the only being that needs to know, because He is sovereign and just and is the ONE they need to lean on during this time of need. Now, can we help? Yes, by praying to God a prayer of Hope, encouragement, and peace during their time of need.
Basically, I am just saying I will miss listening to them on the radio, Sherry taking Lexi to school, etc.. I will pray for their family, and continue to listen to KLOVE with or without them.

Tornados in the winter Snow in spring
As I write this post,I am dreaming of a white spring. My potatoes and onions are planted, the Oklahoma Red Bud is in bloom, and we are to get snow! Husband, is checking out the generator. We are going to possibly have a blizzard. So, here we wait to see if the Colorado Snow will head our way. We have had rain all day long. The grocery stores were full of shoppers, the snacks were flying off the selves. Frito Lay had good day at Walmart, there were only a few bags of Fritos left on the shelf! So, only in Oklahoma, we can have tornados inthe winter and snow in the spring!

Seventh Generation Giveaway and Product Review
Are you trying to be more "green" watching your Carbon Footprints, wanting to use more green cleaning products around your home, or just like to try products for your home that do not have harsh ingredients, because of allergies for example? If you said "Yes" to any of these answers, Seventh Generation, has the solution to your household needs. You can go and print off some coupons at their site and use these at Walgreens, Super Target, and some grocery stores, CLICK HERE to see where you can find these products near you.
So far, I have tried the Free and Clear liquid laundry detergent, window cleaner, all purpose cleaner, the Eco-Friendly paper towels, and the dish washing detergent. You can win all these products, through my giveaway, sponsored by Seventh Generation Green Products Company, I will explain later in this post!
Here is my opinion on the products. I loved them, especially the laundry soap. It was even HE compatible. The soap was clean and light, with a crisp scent. Not overpowering one bit. My brother in law, that is staying with us, for awhile, loved it. He has allergies, and was really impressed with the cleaning and the clean smell. The dish soap, was thinner then most soaps I am used to. I just found that interesting, and it seemed to do the job of cleaning my dishes.
The best thing about these products is that they are safe for septic systems. This is important to me, as we have a septic tank, and we are trying to be more aware of the products we use to not harm our system. "Seventh Generation cleaners are non-toxic, moderate pH, and will biodegrade so they will not interfere with the proper operation of your septic system." Quote from Seventh Generation Website.
Seventh Generation carries products for baby, laundry, household cleaning, and more! So there is literally something for everyone.
What you will win is the Free and Clear Starter Kit:
Free & Clear Natural Glass & Surface Cleaner
Free & Clear Natural All Purpose Cleaner
Free & Clear Natural Dish Liquid
Free & Clear Natural Laundry Detergent, 50 oz
(2) Natural Paper Towels - 120 Count
Reusable Tote

How To Use Coupons : Part 1
There is a huge buzz about using coupons these days, and I would like to help clarify on how to use coupons in a responsible manner. That way manufacturer's will continue to use coupons!
1. You can use one manufacturer coupon and one store coupon to get a great deal on products, especially works well when the product is already on sale at the store.
Reason being, the manufacturer pays the store back value of coupon, and the store coupon gets reimbursed by the store. That is how this combination works out the best. Stores that have their own coupons include, Walgreens, CVS, Homeland, Kroger, and Target to name a few.
2. When a product is on sale, and you have a coupon, that is the best time to use your coupon. For instance, Huggies diapers are on sale for $8.99, reg. price 10.99, then you use your $3 off Huggies coupon, you get the diapers for $5.99 instead of $7.99. Makes way more since, and you get more value for your coupon!
3. Buy what the coupon is intended for. Sometimes the picture does not explain all that can be bought, so read the fine print. If the coupon is for any size Gillette Body wash, then you can use that coupon to buy the trial size. These trial sizes are great to have when making goody bags, trips, and to send over seas to our troops.
4. BOGO free coupons, you can use a $ off for one of the products on that you are buying and then get the other product for FREE.
5. Coupons can be found while shopping. Tear Pads, are coupons that are on display ad's in store. This is a good place to look for Milk coupons, or bread. Also, you can find PEELIE's these are coupons that are found on products, sometimes they are intended to be used when you buy (WYB) another product and not the product that it is stuck to.
6. Wine Tags, these are coupons found on Wine in your grocery store. Normally good for cheese, and crackers. These are not in areas that do not sell wine in grocery stores, like Oklahoma.
7. Double and Triple coupons. Stores that do these promotions sometimes it is a daily event and others it is only during certain times. Learn your stores rules for this type of promo, this is a great time to use those coupons to build your stock pile, more about how to start stock piling, later!
I hope this helps, I will keep you informed in later posts. Comment with any questions you may have or add anything you would like!

See Kai Run Spring Shoes Giveaway
Have you checked out See Kai Run lately? They have some really cute styles for toddler boys and girls this spring. Go and check out these toddler shoes for spring. There are some really darling new styles. I picked out Grayson for my son, really adorable sandals. They will be so nice to have on Easter Sunday, which is April 11 this year.
Here are a few tips, you may or may not know about See Kai Run toddler shoes. They are designed by a mom! Second, they are made with the childs growth and foot development in mind. The flexible rubber makes running and playing great for the outdoors while allowing the foot to flex where needed most. They are also made of extremely soft leather with a breathable leather lining! What an added benefit. I am totally in love with these shoes.
Which ones do you like? This is where the GIVEAWAY comes in. Go to See Kai Run and pick out your favorite pair. Then come back to me, and comment telling me which one you would like to have! That will be for entry number one.
Here are the rules. Giveaway will END on April 1, it will be no April FOOLIN' that day, if you are the winner! LOL... around 9 pm central time!
Mandatory
1. Go to See Kai Run, and let me know the shoes you would love to have.
Extra Entries:
1. Subscribe to See Kai Run's Newsletter

Coupon Princess Has a New Look!
How do you like my new look? I was so excited when I went to my site, and lo and behold.. Stephanie my Blog gal, who is the best you know had made my site go live! So tonight, I am just admiring my new site, and LOVING it! I hope you like it as well!
I did a bit of gardening today! Braddock 2yo and I planted onions, and potatoes in the garden. This is going to take some patience, as the potatoes and onions take 110 days to mature! So that means, mid June.
I also pulled weeds, out of the flower beds. Will probably do more yardwork and gardening tomorrow as our weather this week is going to be fabulous!
Don't forget I have a giveaway going on right now. Neat Solutions, great for toddlers and babies!

Winners, Drivers Test, Grocery Shopping Deals, and more!
Winner of FairyTale Brownies is jeanilynne and the winner of the Keurig Coffee Maker was Jennifer from CA. Both winners have claimed their prizes and were picked by using Random.org. Thanks for entering everyone. Make sure you enter the Neat Solutions Giveaway. Here is a sneak peak coming soon... Seventh Generation Giveaway and Pizza Hut Lasagna Product Review and Giveaway!
Here is a little bit about my week. It started out warm and beautiful high of 85 degrees on Monday, worked on getting my vegetable garden started. Then on Tuesday, the weather turned cold, and we were stuck inside the rest of the week. By Thursday, we had SNOW! Really, I am not joking you!
Now it is Friday, and guess what, my 16 yo son took his drivers test. Well being frugal like I like to be, I chose not to be frugal today. Sometimes, time and stress are worth the extra cash! I had the Drivers Ed Teacher take him to take his drivers test, yes it would have been nice to take him myself and enjoy the experience, however sitting in the DMV with a 2 yo and a nervous 16 yo is not my idea of a relaxing morning. So off my son went at 7:30 am to go practice driving, similar to what the driving test would be like, under supervision of a teacher that does not have my bad driving habits. Now I am not a bad driver, I just probably, well I know, do not follow all the rules all the time. So, with that said, he took his test and passed with a 99! WOO HOO... They drove him back to school, and he was I am sure on Cloud 9 for the rest of the day!
Okay, it is the difficult part now. He has his licsence and has a truck waiting for him in the driveway. Now do we let him drive? HECK no... well not because we do not want him to, but we have to get insurance! Did you know for a 16 yo boy, it is probably going to cost us a fortune! Well, hubby did talk to our son, gave him the super dee duper dad talk, and hopefully by the time our son is back from his ski trip with the church, we will have insurance for him and he will be driving himself to school, sports, etc... Shooy...what a day. Oh, remember I still have a 13 yo (says he will not drive with bro) and a almost 3 yo! Boy, I have a long life of changes still to go in my life!
Oh, forgot to say, I did a new youtube video today. Finally went shopping at Homeland. Got some great deals. Totino Rolls, .30, free Yo Plus yogurt, FREE bananas, Free Juice, mustard, cheap bread, and more! Spent under $10 got $60 worth of groceries! YIPPEE!
Here are some links to remember! Free Betty Crocker Warm Delights
Healthy Tips for the day.

New West Knives are the BEST in the kitchen
New West Knifeworks, from Jackson Hole, Wyoming specializes in making beautiful, handcrafted kitchen cutlery that are beautiful pieces of art. These super sharp kitchen knives are so beautiful, they are not only great sharp knives, and work great they come in two different styles the Japanese Phoenix knives and the Fusionwood Knives, which is what I had the privledge of trying out.
I have the set that includes the paring knife and the chopper. The paring knife is great to chop apples, slice bananas, and smaller foods. I used the chopper cut broccoli and cauliflower. Those are 2 bulky items, that I find difficult to cut with my knives, that I am now going to have to dispose of, because I have found a new love, the Fusionwood Knives! I was amazed at how great these pieces of cutlery worked, they also came with an individual leather sheathes to keep the knives safe during storage.
These knives are beautiful, I picked out the Sunburst color, the color shown above is the Peacock color, and it is way more beautiful in person then it is seen online!
Some features worth mentioning are:
1. Lifetime guaranty
2. Premium high-carbon stainless tool steel
3. Hardwood veneer handles (the handles fit in your hand very comfortably)
I am very impressed with the workmanship that these knives are produced. They are now a staple in my kitchen, and do not know how I prepared my meals in the past without them.
You can check these knives, their story and more at New West Knifeworks and you can also check out their Phoenix Knives that are made with 33 Layers of Damascus steel! Thanks New West Knifeworks for making high quality knives for the home and restraunts!
Great Coupons, for FREE get them before they are gone!

Fairytale Brownies Giveaway
I came accross this company called Fairytale Brownies, based out of Phoenix, Arizona, and boy do I have to say, their brownies are to DIE for!
My family was able to try their Fairytale Truffles they did not last long in my house full of boys! These brownies were so moist, with chocolate covering that covered the whole brownie. My favorite was the Carmel one, and the Rasberry one was just as good, too! Then there was the Walnut one, that was my 13 yo son's favorite!
They came in a beautiful box, with a satin purple bow, the presentation was such a nice touch. These brownies would make a great thank you gift, welcome baby gift, house warming gift and much more. There were 9 brownies in the box, 3 flavors, 3 each.
I highly recomend this company. The delivery was quick, the brownies were perfect, and delicious.
Fairytale Brownies even helps with community projects, such as KaBOOM! Helping build playgrounds!
Am I making you hungry yet? Go ahead, go to Fairytale Brownies website and check out their gourmet brownies, and tell me who you would like to share these tasty treats with and you could win your own box of Fairytale Truffles.
